Richard
Bader
Richard Bader is
a Canadian quantum chemist who was born on October 15th 1931 in Kitchener Ontario. He was
famous for his works of fundamental physics
that underlies all of chemistry. Bader achieved both his Bachelor and his Master’s degrees in
chemistry from McMaster University. He also received his PhD from the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1958 and did postdoctoral
work at the University of Cambridge. During the time of 1959 and 1963,
Bader worked in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Ottawa as an
assistant professor. But eventually Richard returned back home to his school of McMaster and stayed there
for 30 years until he retired in 1996.
