Postdoctoral
Work/Research
A Postdoctoral Researcher is a
person who is conducting research after they achieved there Doctoral studies/PHD. These individuals pursue additional research, training, or teaching in order to
have better skills to pursue their career. At this stage you are at the best of
the best and you are trying to obtain more knowledge to help extend your future
goals. Most of the postdoctoral researchers end up publishing a book or paper
on the research they have obtained.
Computational chemists
Computational chemists
use computer simulations to assist in finding out chemical problems. Through efficient computer programs they calculate the structures and
properties of molecules and solids. Computational chemistry is also a great way for
chemists investigate materials that are too difficult to find or too expensive
to purchase. It helps chemists make predictions before running the actual
experiments so that they can be better prepared for making observations.
